One of my favorite projects at The Jacob Burns Film Center is to design the posters and key art for our wonderfully curated series. In December 2016, Victoria Fuks and I, under the art direction of Susan Kineke, showed the entirety of the 2016 curated series posters in the Jane Peck Gallery.

Film to Table is a JBFC curated series for film lovers and foodies! The JBFC partnered exclusively with Pubstreet in Pleasantville, NY to present a fun evening. Working with the ramen theme of the evening, I designed and illustrated table numbers, menu cards, and social media graphics for the event. Our Art Department also worked closely with the special events manager to select linens and craft the floral arrangements. My talented teammate, Victoria Fuks brought the illustrations to life.
I really enjoy creating invitations and printed ephemera for parties and events. Fortunately, at the JBFC, we like to party! Here are a few of my favorites.
In 2020 the JBFC presented a retrospective of the work of Agnes Varda. I wanted to capture the dazzling, uninhibited, entertaining, and endlessly unconventional work using a bold, yet minimalistic design. I created the poster, brochure, pins as well as key art for trailer.
Every Halloween JBFC Senior Programmer Andrew Jupin, programs a horror movie marathon of restored classics, oddball gems, and shocking new favorites as well as a live, We Hate Movies improvised commentary! I designed the logo, magents, admission stickers, photobooth filter as well as created a Instagram video.
This year I have had the pleasure of creating fun illustrations for underdog.io. We envisioned the adorable french bulldog mascot (designed by Justin Pervorse) in fun settings and holiday themes! These are a few of my favorites.
Together with Victoria Fuks and creative director, Susan Kineke, we created paper flower cutouts and designed a typographic treatment to promote a membership drive for the month of May. The composition was photographed and Victoria created a stop motion effect in AfterEffects.
To thank the members of the Jacob Burns Film Center for their continued patronage, we sent out a PDF cookbook before Thanksgiving of our favorite recipes! The staff submitted recipes that are a mix of family favorites, cook-off winners, and crowd pleasers. I designed and illustrated the 18 page collection.
Our cookbook was featured on Forbes!
In November of 2017, I stepped into Warlock Athletics and drank the CrossFit Kool-Aid. Shown here are the 2020 CrossFit Open Season designs, a commemorative patch for Murph, posters and an e-book written by Erik Zeyher.
